Our establishment
EL PALACIO is in Lloreda de Cayón, in a peaceful and tranquil setting. It is a large house built in typical mountain style, with a floor area of 1,000 sq m. Its most remarkable architectural feature is its main façade, done with ashlars, especially striking because of its large size. The building shows a Renaissance influence, with some Baroque decorative elements. It was built at the end of the 16th century and refurbished in 1997. EL PALACIO is located in the Pisueña region, in the Cayón Valley, 27 km from Santander via the road that leads to the Cabárceno Nature Reserve, which is only 8 km away. This large Cantabrian house has a 3-star rating.

EL PALACIO has 10 heated/air conditioned rooms: 1 single, 7 doubles and 2 suites. All rooms have full bathroom, television, hair dryer and complimentary toiletries; two of them have their own lounge, and three have balcony. Each room is decorated in a different style.

There are many places of interest to tourists near EL PALACIO, such as: the (San Pedro del Romeral, San Roque de Riomiera and Vega de Pas, the three most important villages in the Pas Valley); the prehistoric caves in Puente Viesgo; Esles, with its art and architectural attractions and its beech wood; the 12th century Romanesque church of Argomilla; and the collegiate church of Castañeda. The Altamira museum and the replica of the prehistoric caves are 35 km away.
