EL PALACIO

EL PALACIO is in Lloreda de Cayón, in a peaceful and tranquil setting. It is a large house built in typical mountain style, with a floor area of 1,000 sq m. Its most remarkable architectural feature is its main façade, done with ashlars, especially striking because of its large size. The building shows a Renaissance influence, with some Baroque decorative elements. It was built at the end of the 16th century and refurbished in 1997.
